The name G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè was founded by Hêbëd Trînkdsm Brgarë, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè receives an average of 221 cm/y (87 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1914 m (6279 ft) above sea level.
Overview
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 12th century in fall of the year 1067, by Hêbëd Trînkdsm Brgarë. The establishment of G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a series of crampt cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. There’s a patern to the panic. It’s not easy to see, and no one quite agrees on what it is, but the locals know and operate under this pattern. It shapes everything they do, and you feel as if you’ve almost worked it out only for some small detail to devastate your theory every time you try and comprehend it.
Civic Infrastructure
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's parks.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a Department of Firefighters, which is responsible for organizing fire fighting efforts during a fire and enforcing local ordinances relating to fire safety.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large Town. G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's natural decorations nor waterways.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.
G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

G̈îmê-thîyî Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves performance art to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 2 via recitation of poetic epics.
